PRIVACY POLICY
Collecting Personal or Company Information
Interlocks Surveys will ask when we need any information that identifies you or your company (Personal or Company Information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is needed when you wish to register your details with us.
Use of Personal or Company Information
We use Personal or Company Information as an intrinsic part of the services we offer. It is also used on an individual as well as statistical level to improve our services.
Control of Personal or Company Information
Except in the circumstances outlined in the notes below, Interlocks Surveys will not disclose any personal information to any third parties without your express permission, nor any company information without the express permission of the main registered contact for that company.
NOTE 1: We occasionally hire other companies to provide us with services. They will only ever be given access to the information needed to do their job and are strictly forbidden for using the information for any other purpose.
NOTE 2: Interlocks Surveys will disclose personal or company information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: comply with legal process served on Interlocks Surveys; protect and defend the rights or property of Interlocks Surveys, and; act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of Interlocks Surveys’ clients, staff or the public.
Access to Personal or Company Information
Interlocks Surveys will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal or company information is correct and current. You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to info@interlocksurveys.co.uk, who will get back to you within 10 working days.
Security of Personal or Company Information
Interlocks Surveys strictly protects the security of your personal or company information. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
This information is never shared outside Interlocks Surveys without your permission, except under conditions explained above. Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access.
Use of Cookies
Interlocks Surveys does not use cookies in any area of our Website.
Mailing Lists
As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to advise you of the services that we offer, to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
Google Analytics
When someone visits www.interlocksurveys.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
