As built topographical and utilities surveys of ten wind farm sites across the Highlands and Central Belt of Scotland.

Surveys included all significant features on site, including turbine towers, substations, control buildings, and boundaries. Utility surveys captured the alignment of all underground electrical infrastructure.

Interlocks successfully captured all data required in the face of adverse weather and challenging access to remote sites. The Interlocks team managed site access and liaison with asset managers, delivering equipment and personnel safely and efficiently.

The Scottish Government reaffirmed its commitment to onshore wind in February of 2026 with the auction of 21 new sites to provide 1.1 GW of power. With offices in Edinburgh, Interlocks Surveys is ideally placed to deliver all kinds of survey work associated with the development of new wind farm infrastructure across the length and breadth of Scotland.
