Provision of design services for two major tunnels (1.5km in length) to create a cross measures access to known new mineral reserves below the current mining horizon. Once the tunnels had been designed and approved the client required Interlocks Surveys to compile and send out full tender documents for companies to tender for the work.
In addition to mine planning services, Interlocks provided an underground mine survey, setting out services, and above ground topographical survey services.
Due to the breadth of expertise on offer the client was able to deal with Interlocks as a single port of call for all their mine surveying and design requirements.
